The Third Eye

The all-seeing, powerful, and mysterious third eye of Shiva is more feared than revered. They say that the third eye, if opened, will destroy everything. Burn the world into ashes. No one wants to believe that the third eye is not on Shiva's forehead, but inside the human brain and it does not open to the outer World, but it opens inwards into ones own mind. This refusal is quite understandable for if the eye opens, the illusion will be destroyed. The world as he knows, as he built inside his meek, little, super-powerful brain will be burnt to ashes and he will see the truth. The truth that he is not an individual, but just an inseparable, tiny part on the continuum called the Universe. Losing his identity scares the crap out of him
